About

This blog started as a chronicle of my last few months in a federal university in Nigeria. I have sought a psuedonym to use that will match the tone of this blog, but nothing has been adequate. Thus, I remain the anonymous mail [at] whichlevel [dot] org!

Two years down the line, I have put the walls of the University far behind me, but I still remain trapped in a society that keeps most young people trapped and seeking for a way to move forward. Through a year of the National Youth Service Corps Programme, a multitude of job interviews and tests, even more opportunities – some utilised, some squandered, I have found that the question ‘which level?’ is as pervasive as it was two years ago.

Though despite attempts at creating succession for this blog have failed, I remain indignant in believing that this bus stop should remain for a long time to come, to welcome many travellers on the journey of self discovery. I have decided after long and hard deliberation and consultation with supporters of this effort to drag this vision along with me, even as I try to grow it into something bigger than it is.

The issue of going No ID is because I want the focus to remain on the community, on the visitors, on the travellers. I believe that alot of the sentiments that I express on this blog are shared by a great number of Nigerians. Then, how dare I parade them as my own?

How can one be successful, if he does not define what success means to him, by himself? What is success to me? This blog would have been successful if I am able to impact that one mind, to coerce that extra thought, to impact that one life using that one line in that one post!

I hope the time you spend reading the anecdotes on this blog are as enlightening and entertaining as the time I spent writing them.
